PERFECTION

10.08.2024

The 6th race at Gellerasen turned out great! Pure Perfection! Although my speed was off par with the top 10, making no mistakes and keeping consistent pace all weekend is the only thing that matters to me, So lets take it right from the start!

Trackdays and test: The tests were...a little wanky, but good in the end, very very good. It was a hellstorm of rain, so we skipped the last test session which was flooded. However, that day we skipped about half the sessions of the trackday due to problems with the wheel alignment which was EXTREMELY ANNOYING since we lost valuable track time on the dries. In the end though, the car was fixed and is now back in perfect condition so it was perfect for the weekend!
Qualifications: The qualifications were not so great, out in the first couple of laps, I lost the rear and spun out which caused the cars behind me to overtake me and create a 5-7 second gap, which means I had no slipstream and settled in P13.
Race 1: The race was not so good, and it carries on to race 2 so we'll skip the race 2 part. I got stuck behind Louise Larsson who was defending pretty hard, which, I gotta say, I will carry that over to the Kinnekulle weekend. I was stuck behind Louise for a long time because I didn't see a window so it is my fault there. However, Race 1, Fredrik Lindholm had to DNF from the race so I jumped up to P12.
Race 3: The race was chaos, ABSOLUTE CHAOS. I was again stuck behind Louise but only for 1 lap where after she spun out, and Fredrik also spun out but would later overtake me. I was closing in onto William Isakson when suddenly, Leonel Crashed and caused a Safety Car condition which packed everyone together and when the SC conditions turned to green flags, I got overtaken and defended against hard and fell down to last. P13. Unfortunate race, it was frustrating but the good thing is that all these races I never made a mistake, so it is a huge W for me!

Proud of it and as I said, will carry it onto Kinnekulle where I will have my last Official Participation!

But...I will leave this out in DRIVER OF THE DAY!!! RAAAH!!!!

Junior: This was a hard one, cause in all of these races the field has been pretty tight, like...very tight. But, I have made a decision luckily and I decided its Leonel Skaar. His pace and consistency had him stay in the top 8 which is amazing! Pure Performance! Love it and I hope he will continue this growth into the next weekends!
Rookie: This will go to Louise Larson! She made an exceptional drive and defence all weekend! Her hard defending kept drivers behind and she was defending really hard. Pushing drivers to the limits of the track! Again, hope that she will keep this up to the next weekends!
