Sayonara 2024

23.09.2024

Alright...LOTS OF THINGS TO TALK ABOUT! So. Lets first talk about the 2024 Aquila Season. The 2024 season was great, lots of learning experience was harvested and I had good pace through the whole season. Although I was placed in...P14...It was good enough anyway for a first timer!

To summarize the whole season up, My main competitors were William Isaksson and Johan Varland (And I'm glad that they also found lots of pace for the season) and I am happy to have them as my main competition. Personally, I think they were just a slight bit faster than me but otherwise they had amazing pace which I am really glad about. However, unfortunately, some of my battles ended in me crashing mainly because that I couldn't keep focus or that I was driving like complete shit under battling. BUT! BUT. But. but.

The (unofficial) final race has been finished at Mantorp Park Grand Finale and it is time to make a brief report about it!

I qualified P13 however, Race 1 went well as many people spun out and I overtook one driver, I managed to climb to P10, marking another Top 10 and in the race 2, while I did get overtaken by Louise Larsson, Alex Gustavsson did not participate in the race, setting me still in P10. BUT. THEN RACE 3 CAME (Lololololol). During the 3rd race, Leonel Skaar, an excellent driver, unfortunately had a sad moment of crashing out of the race, which caused a safety car to deploy. However, my s̸̥͗͂k̶̳̬̣͌į̶̹͔̈́̀l̵̟̈́̓l̵̛̗̹͖̄ ̴̲̣̺̀̉̕ỉ̶̺̝̙̿̒s̷̝̙̐s̴̳̹̪̐̽͘ư̵͇͖̂e̷̪͕͆͑̎ came back and I went out of the final corner...DURING THE END OF THE SAFETY CAR. UNACCEPTABLE. And I was determined to make positions back, so after dropping down to P12, I made some overtakes and with the help of other drivers spinning out, I managed to overtake others up to P8. ACCEPTABLE! But...why was I so brief about this? WELL

This race was a non-championship race, so therefore, we get no points for this and we did this for the funny, and let me tell you. It. Was. Funny. The only thing you earn from this is experience, and in this series, experience is the most valuable thing you can earn from this series (EXCEPT MONEY) and let me tell you, it will be worth it.

However, like any other race, we will do DRIVER OF THE DAY!!!

With the juniors being: OSCAR MELLSTIG!!! FOR HE HAS WON ONE OF THE RACES. He has cooked, and cooked over and over again in every race weekend, remaining around the Top 6 (If he didn't get the unfortunate bad luck of spinning out or crashing), but now he has won. Congrats Oscar!
Now, for the Overalls: Mister Kevin Suensson! But...why him if he won every weekend? Well, for this weekend, he has crashed with Alex Gustavsson which made Alex retire for the rest of the weekend, however, Kevin is resilient as hell, as he managed to fix his car up, tape it and raced to the very end by remaining in the Top 3, I mean, why isn't he racing in Gt racing? What an amazing driver.

Thank you all for giving me all your support over the season and I hope that you will continue to give me the support until the very end of my racing season.
